Are you READY?????

Do you think we are ready??? We always look like crazy football fanatics all dressed in our garb...but hey you have to support your team! (they did not wear the hats out of the house by the way!) Koey and I had a fun play date at the park today and Kaleb brought home his first homework assignment from Preschool:). The teacher in me was so excited!!!!!

Hangin' out and clowning around!

Another rainy weekend and it is like we are trying to win an award for the most innovative indoor games. We have added balloon golf (see picture) and balloon tennis to the list. After Bible school and all the rain we are honorary clowns thanks to the balloon skills we now have. The boys began making paper mache pumpkins...Kohen's is quite psychedelic~Kaleb's very pumpkin-like...and in between bouts of downpours we were able to make it outside where Mat and the kids climbed trees. Mom's horrible haircuts, finally making it to church, a new church which we all really liked, and a few house hunting visits and another weekend has passed. We are of course excited for tomorrow...redemption for the Black and Gold - against Baltimore nonetheless! Go Steelers:)!

Fun at the fair!

We attended the infamous Bloomsburg Fair on Monday. After a frustrating chain of events we finally got there and met our friends, Beth and Mike and their little boy Dominic. We did all of the fair things, games, rides and junk food :(. We were still recovering from Sunday's horrible game...so those helped.

Kohen is now going to story time and loving it. He has such a hard time coming out of his shell...for those of you who know him, you realize that is sarcasm, because he stands in the middle of all of the circles and commands everyone's complete attention with his singing, dancing and that very fake (but hilarious) laugh. He loved it though and I am sure he will be happy to go back.
Sorry for all of the pictures. I can never choose which ones to add! And yes, we apparently like our green shirts! :) I'll remember to put them away before the next set of pictures.

A Trip Back Home.

The boys and I just returned from a trip to good old Pittsburgh and as they get older it gets much easier. Thankfully :)! The trip is also a little shorter from where we are now, which really helps. We were able to connect with a lot of family and friends in the couple of days and as usual we spent a lot of time at the parks. Here are some pictures of the boys with cousins, friends and the infamous "PAPPY"! The four boys just can't seem to get enough pappy and we can't blame them. My dad always wanted boys and now he has them!
The bus picture is of the "Straight Talk Express". Much to my dismay, it was not the Kid Rock tour bus that we passed on another trip (unfortunately going the opposite direction:()...but rather Johnny McCain. I took a picture for you McCainers out there... I like the guy, but based on the issues I guess I am a MAMA for Obama as one friend says.
Take care and GO STEELERS!

Rain, Rain, GO AWAY!!!

I know that we need it but with two kids in the apartment I am ready for the rain to stop. At least with snow you can play and make things...although we may start puddle jumping here soon. In the break between showers today, Mat took the boys for a quick bike ride. They absolutely love the motorcycle now. Then after dinner and a round of Hockey-Golf, an intricate game where you either putt or use a hockey stick to shoot a golf whiffle ball down a hallway into a plastic horseshoe, we did some couch cushion dancing and Kaleb serenaded us with his Jonas Brothers "Burning Up" rendition. :)

I know he is sideways, but you get the picture!

Got Moves?

The boys and I joined another group today, MOPS. We are out and about doing any activity we can find to keep us busy and meeting people...and we did meet a lot of really great people today. God is good!

Here they are unwinding and rewinding. When they hear MOO-ZIC (as Koey calls it) they can hardly contain themselves. It is like something takes over their little bodies. They are especially fond of a singer called Kid something or other...not sure where they get that from???

Remember to pray for God's blessings on our country, service men and women and for those who lost loved ones on 9/11.

What??? No Steeler Pics???

I noticed after posting the last entry that there were no pictures of the boys in their jerseys. In order to not disappoint, here are some... :)

Two are of them acting silly and pretending. We were rained out ALL DAY and so we had to resort to some new activities...i.e. Chasing Mr. "Where are your pants" Kohen around the apartment while dressed as a fireman.

It's been a while!

It has been so long...I had a feeling I might not be the best blogger! Since the last entry Kaleb has started school and we have been keeping ourselves busy. Fall festivals, camping with Grandma and Pappy and of course..FOOTBALL! Thank goodness the season has begun. WE are, as always, becoming quickly known as the Steelers family. I can't imagine why?!?!?!
So the house for which we put an offer has gone to some poor unfortunate people who want to do nothing but mow. Now we are just enjoying having more family time together than ever before and continuing to find our notch in our new area still awaiting God's plan for us! :)
