Kaleb finished his first season of soccer, U6. Mat and I were team parents, but Mat did all the work because of my eye "stuff". He is a great coach and his team did really well. Kaleb is already ready for another sports season to start up again!
Here are the kids when The Mahonskis came for a visit. It is always great to see them again. The kids act like their was no time lost and they have an awesome time playing together.

Carving pumpkins was fun, they did almost all of their own carving this year. Koey is a bit out of control with his carver, but he got the job done for the most part. Kaleb learned at school that you can keep the seeds for next year's pumpkins so we'll have a lot more to carve next year I guess :)! I know my eyes are closed but the rest of the gang looks good and really my eyes usually aren't open much further anyway!
The front porch is a glow and our Steelers pumpkin brought another win. It just might be there until February.

Mat and the boys on our hayride to get Pumpkins!

The front porch ready for Halloween and Football Season!
Mat and Koey enjoying the Carolina breeze!
Us next to the wild horses of Corolla, I know at this point there's a fence in the picture, but if you look to the left there is a break in the fence, where the horses then came walking closer to us. At that point I made the kids get closer to the truck...just in case. We went four wheeling in Pappy's truck on the beach in order to be able to see them and it was totally worth it!Kohen at his first day of Preschool. He was so excited for me to drop him off. No looking back for him. His teacher had to keep saying, "Say goodbye to your mom." He was just ready to get on with the day and be a big boy like his brother.

Pappy enjoying the new playset with rest of the family.

Back in the swing of things upon returning from vacation. We had a great week in Corolla with Pappy and Grandma Miller and our friends Beth, Michael and Dominic. Kohen and Kaleb are already ready to go back. Aren't we all!
I had my first eye surgery on Monday. The next one is tomorrow morning and then look out everyone! I will actually be able to see. From the repeated steroid use after the eye diseases, I had developed a cataract on my right eye and had it removed with vision correcting lenses. So being thirty-one with cataracts, the benefit is I no longer have to wear my lovely "Spectacular Spec-tackles" as we call them.
Kaleb is LOVING school. He is becoming quite the eco-warrior thanks to his teacher and he was even disappointed to learn that he had a long weekend! I wonder where he gets that from...no comments Tiffany! Tomorrow he will play in his last soccer game too for the fall. His team really does well considering Mat and I are the team parents and we know NOTHING about soccer. Luckily at the age, they just kick the ball around, basically no rules and no goalie! That much we could handle.
So I am hoping that this post finds all of you well ...until next time. Blessings!
